Amal Clooney reveals how her life and career were ‘easier...

Amal Clooney shared that it was “easier” to navigate her life and career before her high-profile marriage to George Clooney.

“It was easier when I could decide what kind of exposure I got,” the human rights attorney said during an appearance earlier this month at a Cartier Dialogues event in Bangkok.

“It was something new to navigate,” she added, per the Daily Mail.

Elsewhere in the interview, the mom of two, 48, reflected on how she was previously able to keep her personal life and career separate.

“It was a weird phenomenon,” she said, per the outlet. “I used to have my work life and my personal life, and they could look quite different, and I was able to not have them mix… and then I got married and that changed quite a lot.”

Amal explained, “At first I was kind of conscious of that one-dimensional view where I felt like, well, I can’t be seen wearing this dress or doing this because I’m in front of a judge on Monday and I don’t want the judge to… but you know it just doesn’t matter as much as living your life.”

She added, “Ultimately if you’re good at what you do, that is going to shine through or not.”

Amal clarified that she “wouldn’t allow that factor to stop me from doing things that were important for my family or for my relationship.”

Amal married the “Ocean’s 11” star in a lavish, star-studded ceremony in Italy back in 2014.

They’ve since welcomed twins Ella and Alexander, now 9 years old.

George has repeatedly boasted about his wife, and the fact that they simply haven’t argued over the 12 years they’ve been married.

“I’m much more secure, and I am also less in the mood to win arguments,” he told the Los Angeles Times in January. “When you’re young, you’re trying to win everything.”

As for Amal, she’s gushed over her husband’s unwavering support amid her high-powered career. “I have a partner in life who is so supportive of what I do,” she told Glamour magazine in a profile last year.

“So I don’t feel like I have to apologize for it or rein it in.”
