A scuba and exploration crew searching California’s Russian River has sparked renewed attention around the shadowy world of Bohemian Grove after documenting an expedition near the secluded property tied to the ultra-exclusive club.

The team carried out underwater searches in calm, shallow stretches of the Northern California river using scuba equipment, underwater drones, metal detectors and magnet fishing gear while investigating areas connected to historical missing-person cases.

Their operation unfolded near land associated with Bohemian Grove, the private retreat long known for hosting powerful politicians, executives and global figures behind closed doors.

Interest in the secretive club surged earlier this year when an alleged top-secret roster of the elite fraternity was released online, giving the public a rare look into the secret society of the world’s most powerful men.

Now a YouTube video titled, “Infiltrating Bohemian Grove (Part 1) | Getting Inside the World’s Most Secret Elite Club,” has surfaced, claiming to show how a group managed to enter the heavily restricted grounds before being detected.

“We infiltrated Bohemian Grove, the world’s most secretive elite retreat,” the video description states. “In Part 1, we document how we got inside and what we saw before anyone noticed.”

The description also notes that the retreat has “hosted powerful world leaders, CEOs, and politicians for decades, but the public has never been allowed to see what really happens inside.”

Online reactions to the footage quickly turned intense.

“I search regularly for new infiltrators as these videos get taken down and honestly this one will too. Glad to see it. Keep it up. We need more people exploring and exposing their secrets at all costs,” one commenter wrote.

Another warned: “You have to be careful, they will shoot you on site in a prohibited spot there. They may give one warning or none at all. Scary thing is you can’t see security.”

During the Russian River dive, the exploration crew focused on public trails and shoreline areas overlooking the grove’s perimeter.

The team documented wooded paths, warning signs and distant structures visible beyond the riverbanks while avoiding confirmed entry into restricted property.

Using a hookah-style diving system and underwater drones, the group scanned submerged terrain and recovered several objects buried in sediment, including fishing tackle, metallic debris and discarded personal belongings.

Among the more unusual finds was a bone discovered near the shoreline.

The explorers later suggested it appeared to be animal remains rather than evidence connected to a human investigation.

Despite growing speculation fueled by the club’s reputation for secrecy, the divers emphasized that their mission centered on the river environment itself, not the private retreat.

Bohemian Grove has long attracted controversy and fascination because of its elite membership and tightly guarded gatherings.

The organization, headquartered in San Francisco, has faced renewed scrutiny since the membership directory leaked publicly, exposing names linked to the club.

The list reportedly included figures such as Conan O’Brien, Michael Bloomberg and former Google chief Eric Schmidt.

A staggering list of powerbrokers throughout history are said to have joined as well, including Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan and Henry Kissinger.

The club has also drawn criticism for banning women, a practice once common among historic private membership clubs in the US and UK but increasingly phased out in recent years.
