Hulu released a special surprise taste of The Bear as fans await its fifth season, courtesy of Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Jon Bernthal.

The actors, who play cousins Richie Jerimovich and Mikey Berzatto, respectively, announced on Tuesday that they teamed up to write and star in a special flashback episode of the FX dramedy. The hour-long episode, titled “Gary,” sees the cousins go on a work trip to Gary, Indiana.

According to the network’s description, the special episode “illuminates the two friends’ complicated relationship, uncovering new layers of Mikey’s mental state while offering crucial insight into the man Richie is when audiences first meet him in season one — adding emotional context that reframes their story from the very beginning.”

“COUSINS! PRIMOS! CUGINI!!! Get ready for GARY!!!! We are so excited to finally share this little adventure with Richie and Mikey,” Moss-Bachach captioned the announcement post on social media. “Written by me and @jonnybernthal . Offscreen, Moss-Bachrach and Bernthal are currently starring in Dog Day Afternoon on Broadway. Deadline reported in March that Season 5 would mark The Bear‘s series finale. The release date for Season 5 has yet to be announced.

“Gary” and Seasons 1-4 of The Bear are streaming on Hulu.
