The kings of ’00s indie rock are headed to Queens.

On Friday, Oct. 2, The Strokes will headline at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in the final show of their ‘Reality Awaits Tour’ in support of their upcoming new album with special guests TV on the Radio, Beach House and Fcukers.

If you’d like to be there, tickets are available on secondary market sites ahead of the official June 18 on-sale date for the concert.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on GA passes for the one-off concert was $263 including fees on SeatGeek.

Make sure to use promo code NYPOST10 for $10 off purchases over $250 at checkout (Editor’s Note: this discount is only valid for users’ first purchase on SeatGeek).

This festival-like show will be the group’s first in Queens — Julian Casablancas’ Voidz show at the Knockdown Center in October ’24 doesn’t count — since their August 2023 gig at Forest Hills Stadium where they played a career-spanning 21-song set made up of fan favorite tracks like “Reptilia,” “Last Nite,” “Is This It,” “Call It Fate, Call It Karma” and the sublime “Modern Girls & Old Fashion Men” where they were joined by Regina Spektor for the first time in two decades.

Also, of note, their fall ’26 Flushing date is the only show on their run to feature big-name opening acts TV on the Radio, Beach House and Fcukers. Special guests at other concerts of theirs this summer include Thundercat, Hamilton Leithauser, Cage The Elephant and OLUM.

In the event you can’t attend the Flushing show, The Strokes are also scheduled to rock this year’s Sea.Hear.Now Festival in Asbury Park, NJ on Sunday, Sept. 20.

They’ll be joined by fellow icons like Mumford & Sons, Goo Goo Dolls, The Offspring, Pixies and Chaka Khan at the two-day extravaganza that happens to take place on the beach.

For more information, our team has everything you need to know and more about The Strokes’ fall 2026 concert in Queens below.

The Strokes new music

In addition to the melancholy “Falling Out Of Love,” The Strokes dropped “Reality Awaits'” lead single “Going Shopping” in April.

The tropicalia-tinged tune feels like The Strokes in a minor key. A chilled-out but unmistakably Strokes-ian groove, Julian doing his auto-tuned Voidz thing…until the minute mark.

All of a sudden, the BPMs kick up a notch and a Dire Straits-esque sound pop and take the single to the next level. Catchy, fun, offbeat, this is summer music at its absolute best. Blast this one by the pool.

If you’d like to hear for yourself, you can find “Going Shopping” here.

Who is opening for The Strokes this year?

At all non-festival shows, The Strokes will be joined by an opening act. To make sure you’re familiar with their disparate sounds, you can find each artist’s most-streamed track on Spotify below.

TV on the Radio: “Wolf Like Me”

Beach House: “Space Song”

Fcukers: “Bon Bon”

Cage The Elephant: “Cigarette Daydreams”

Thundercat: “Funny Thing”

Hamilton Leithauser: “A 1000 Times”

Fat White Family: “Touch The Leather Redux”

Alex Cameron: “Stranger’s Kiss”
