Bravo fans have spent the last few weeks speculating exactly how heated things got during the taping of the Summer House reunion, but judging from the footage that’s included in this newly released Summer House Season 10 reunion trailer, we may have underestimated the level of acrimony on display.
The two-and-a-half-minute preview opens with Lindsay Hubbard finding out that Amanda Batula and West Wilson dropped a joint statement confirming their rumored romance (Hubbard previously told DECIDER that cameras were rolling for her In the City confessionals when she found out about the news).
After greeting each other with a kiss, the star-crossed lovers are met with fury, confusion, and rage from their fellow Summer House co-stars, as well as moderator Andy Cohen, who asks if they are in love.
“This wasn’t a sex scandal. This was hanging out,” Wilson begins, before Jesse Solomon cuts him off, asking why he’s continuing to “lie.”
Solomon appears to have an even more emotional response to the betrayal later on in the trailer as he sobs over “losing a brother,” referring to Wilson. “I hope you can somehow improve and prove us wrong, but it doesn’t look good,” he says. Meanwhile, Kyle Cooke, who is still legally married to Batula, chimes in, “I thought I knew you, man. I’ve been going back and forth between feeling concern and betrayed.”
When it’s finally time for Batula to talk, she seems to minimize the severity of her relationship with Wilson, wondering, “No one in this world has ever been in a situation like this before?” Lindsay Hubbard and Mia Calabrese immediately shut her down, with the latter asking, “Are we morally bankrupt?”
At long last, we finally see a small snippet of Ciara Miller‘s showdown with Batula. As we know, Miller was a strong support system for Batula as she struggled in her marriage to Cooke, making it even worse that Batula turned around and began dating Wilson, who had previously dated Miller (and left her heartbroken).
“Over the past six years, I have been your fucking champion. I couldn’t fathom that I would be sitting here pissed that you’re fucking my ex,” Miller fumes. “He wants to embarrass me. He wants to get his last little word in. I hope it works, because he’s with you to spite me.”
At that point, Batula begins to cry, before she storms off of the stage. As expected, Wilson sits there mute, prompting his co-stars, Miller included, to urge him to “go after” his girlfriend.
“Get up and go after her, West!” Hubbard screams. “Be a fucking man!”
