How ‘too young’ Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun went fro...

When it comes to Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun, love is winning.

After watching the Knicks beat the Spurs last Saturday to clinch the NBA Championship, Braun gushed about girlfriend Sydney Sweeney — and dropped the L-Word.

“Syd, I love you and your family so much,” Braun, 45, said aboard a private jet ride after the historic victory, in a video shared by pal Steven Rifkind. “You are the greatest good luck charm for a New York Knicks and Jets fan in history.”

The moment was the latest sign the two have gotten serious — despite their 16-year age difference.

“They’re very happy together,” a source close to the couple told Page Six. “They’re really enjoying each other.”

When they first became involved, after meeting at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding in Italy last June, Braun told friends that Sweeney was too young for anything beyond a summer fling.

But, it quickly became much more. By September, an insider told Page Six that the couple were “game on, full throttle … not a casual relationship.”  They added, “He is picky about who he lets in his inner circle. If he is with her, it’s not about what she looks like or celebrity, but means he really likes her.

That same month, the duo were spotted on a date night with Sweeney’s parents at a Halloween event at Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles.

By November, they were seen passionately making out in Central Park.

This past April, the pair attended the season 3 premiere of “Euphoria,” in which Sweeney stars as self-destructive hottie Cassie, together. In early May, Sweeney made it Instagram official, sharing photos of her and Braun at the Stagecoach Music Festival.

“Cowboy kind of weekend,” she captioned a photo of herself in overalls, cowboy boots and sunglasses, embracing Braun.

Then, at the beginning of this month, Sweeney orchestrated an elaborate surprise party for Braun’s 45th birthday. Warren G performed, and attendees included Jessica Alba, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson.

“She planned [it] for a month. The detail that she took was next level,” the source close to the couple said. “She called his family and friends — old friends and new ones — to invite them [herself].”

Such moments of caring seem to characterize their relationship.

“It’s genuine support,” said the source close to the couple. “Neither one of them need each other for anything. They don’t have a transactional relationship.”

The good times continued into the NBA Finals.

For Game 4, Sweeney surprised Braun, a longtime Knicks fan, with tickets in the same section as his father and brother.

“Can’t stop smiling,” Braun told The Post in an Instagram exchange after explaining why he wasn’t seated on the floor.

But it’s not all about Braun and his team. Earlier this month, Braun accompanied Sweeney to a pop up for her lingerie company Syrn in Los Angeles.

And the music manager, who famously discovered Justin Bieber and made him a massive star, has been a trusted advisor, the source close to the couple said. He’s helped Sweeney navigate thorny moments, like the backlash to her American Eagle campaign or questions about her political leanings.

“He’s someone in her corner —someone she can ask for advice or support,” they told Page Six.

But, another source, who is tight with Sweeney and her family, is skeptical of Braun.

“He’s calling the shots. He’s in charge,” the source said. “This is not who she is. She normally keeps her private life private.”

The source added, “Her career is clearly something she’s worked very hard for. She’s this up-and-coming, beautiful successful young woman.”

But, a friend of Sweeney’s said Braun has been genuinely helpful, offering the actress guidance on career decisions, saying she “needs him to get to the next level.”

A separate source claimed Sweeney has the same team she’s long had in place and is “very independent.”

(The Post has reached out to reps for Sweeney and Braun.)

Whatever the case, Sweeney’s career is a busy one. It was recently announced that there won’t be a fourth season of “Euphoria,” freeing her up to pursue more adult roles that could get her on the Oscars-track, the source close to Sweeney and Braun said.

“Euphoria made her a big star — she did other movies like ‘Christy’ and ‘The Housemaid’ that she absolutely crushed it in, and now, she’s going on to be an even bigger star,” they said.

Sweeney just announced her new production company, Honey Trap, which will have a first-look deal at Sony Pictures. She has a good relationship with Sony, which distributed, “Anyone But You,” the rom-com hit she starred in with Glen Powell.

“We believe the most unforgettable stories live in contradiction. Beauty and danger, intimacy and power, vulnerability and control,” the company’s mission statement reads.

She’s also set to produce “The Registration,” based on the Madison Lawson thriller, for Sony.

Also on the horizon is “What to Expect,” a period drama following a Midwestern girl climbing the ranks of New York’s high society circuit; an adaptation of “Hollow,” a reimagining of “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”; and the psychological thriller “I Pretended To Be A Missing Girl,” which is in development at Warner Brothers.

She recently finished filming “Custom of the Country,” based on an Edith Wharton novel, and has been shooting “Gundam” in Australia. Her first foray into sci-fi, it’s a live action adaption of a Japanese anime franchise for Netflix and Legendary Pictures. Sweeney, is both producing and starring, alongside Noah Centineo.

Meanwhile, “The Housemaid’s Secret,” the follow-up to her 2025 sleeper hit, “The Housemaid,” will hit theaters next year.

She was also set to to play Kim Novak in Colman Domingo’s directorial debut, “Scandalous!”, about Novak’s relationship with Sammy Davis Jr., but the product has been stalled and Novak has expressed concerns about Sweeney’s casting.

But, no matter.

The source close to the couple said, “She’s on a trajectory — regardless of what people say on social media.”
