President Trump has unexpectedly found a new critic in his former supporter Tucker Carlson, who has taken issue with the ongoing war in Iran. But Ana Navarro and the hosts of The View are skeptical about his recent change of heart.
“I just find keeping up with Tucker Carlson’s conversions very exhausting because he is very different person than the person who was on CNN’s Crossfire and a very different person from the guy he was on Fox News, and a very different person now from the guy who he was five minutes ago,” Navarro complained during Monday’s (May 4) broadcast.
“I just don’t have the 90 minutes to see which Tucker Carlson is gonna show up,” she continued, adding that one can never tell “which of his shady personas is gonna show up.”
Though she is skeptical of Carlson’s politics, she noted the former television personality still has “great influence and a ton of followers” and could make an impact on “normal people.”
Alyssa Farah Griffin claimed Carlson reportedly no longer supported Trump because of the war in Iran and the controversial social media post Trump made that depicted him as Jesus Christ. “It was really that? It was the Easter Jesus? It wasn’t the years of things over the last decade?” Griffin questioned.

Sunny Hostin chimed in with her own searing takedown of Carlson.
“It wasn’t the racism, and the misogyny, and the xenophobia, and the anti-LGBTQ+,” Hostin sarcastically rattled off. “It wasn’t any of that.”
“Tucker Carlson got paid $20 million a year to basically lie to the American people,” she claimed, referring to the salary he reportedly made to host Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Tonight. “And he sold his soul for that 20 million, that’s very clear to me.”
The ladies were much more welcoming towards former Georgia State Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene when she began criticizing Trump’s policies – or at least Joy Behar was.
“I don’t hold grudges. If they want to come over to my side, I’m taking them,” Behar said on the show.
