Hearts weren’t the only things racing.
A diehard “Love Island” fan was caught speeding home at more than 100 mph in Arizona so she could watch the newest episode of the reality show the moment it dropped on Tuesday.

The woman, who wasn’t identified, was pulled over when a Highway Patrol State Trooper tracked her, tearing down State Route 347 at a staggering 108 mph — 45 miles above the stated speed limit.
The speed demon told the trooper that she was “trying to get home fast” so she could watch “Love Island,” according to an arrest roundup posted by the Arizona Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol.
Despite the driver’s plea, she was arrested and booked for criminal speed and reckless driving — altogether missing the newest episode.
Her cherry red car, meanwhile, was impounded in “car jail” for 20 days, according to the department.

“Love Island,” NBC’s hit dating competition streamed exclusively on Peacock, airs new episodes of its various series every day except Wednesday.
Tuesday’s episode of “Love Island USA” featured the first “America’s Vote” segment of the season, where a public poll decides the fate of the Islanders.
The vote matched three new members to the villa, whose very introduction already threatened to shake up the couples’ status quo, with others who already had a pair.
