Good luck finding anything in San Francisco for $250 — beyond a parking ticket.

But a slice of waterfront property? Somehow, it’s possible.

But there’s just one major catch, it’s underwater — according to a new real estate listing — the 5,000 square feet of the picturesque San Francisco Bay listed for just $250 and is turning heads after appearing on Zillow.

The parcel, listed as 0 Bancroft Avenue near the city’s Bayview and Hunters Point neighborhoods, is described as a “rare underwater parcel” spanning 4,996 square feet beneath the surface of the bay.

Photos attached to the listing show nothing but open water.

Still, the seller insists the submerged lot could offer “creative ownership” opportunities for the right buyer.

According to the listing, the parcel could potentially be used for “future waterfront positioning,” “possible boat docking considerations,” “environmental or recreational applications,” or long-term “strategic land banking.”

That last one is likely a pipe-dream of eventually turning the parcel into a piece of land — which could provide quite the return on investment in San Francisco.

But if you want to brag that you own waterfront property in San Francisco, this technically counts.

The listing also pitches the property as a rare investment opportunity, noting that underwater parcels in major metropolitan areas are uncommon.

“No survey or improvements are currently recorded,” the listing states, adding that any future uses would be subject to city, state and coastal regulations — which are notoriously bureaucratic in the Golden State.

Even so, the strange property appears to be drawing attention online simply because of how ridiculous the concept sounds in a city infamous for sky-high housing prices.

As of Tuesday morning, the listing had been active for 13 days and racked up more than 2,600 views and a hundred saves on Zillow.

In a housing market where fixer-uppers routinely sell for more than $1 million, a submerged patch of the San Francisco Bay for $250 almost feels refreshingly attainable.
