Zach Thompson lists the full field for the 2026 edition of THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson and the odds for the tournament on DraftKings Sportsbook.
After last week’s thrilling second major championship of the year, the PGA TOUR heads from Pennsylvania back to Texas for THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson. The tournament dates back to 1944 and has been a regular stop at a variety of courses in the Dallas area ever since. This year’s edition of THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson will take place from Thursday, May 21, to Sunday, May 24.
The tournament was the AT&T Byron Nelson from 2015-2023 until taking on its current name for the last two years. Taylor Pendrith won the first version of THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson in 2024, and last year, Scottie Scheffler won by eight strokes in a runaway victory.
The event will be held at TPC Craig Ranch, which typically gives players a chance to post very low scores. The Tom Weiskopf design in McKinney, Texas, north-northeast of Dallas has hosted this event since 2021, giving us five years of history to consider on this track.
After multiple majors and Signature Events over the last several weeks, this week’s event doesn’t have an especially strong field. However, Scheffler returns to defend his title and is the heavy favorite to repeat as champion.
