Check out some of the best Shai Gilgeous-Alexander player prop bets for Thunder vs. Spurs Game 6 in the NBA Playoffs’ Western Conference Finals.
It took a while, but Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finally exploded with a signature performance last time out against the San Antonio Spurs. Now, he and the Oklahoma City Thunder are on the verge of punching a ticket to their second straight NBA Finals if they can close out this series tonight.
Here are the top Shai Gilgeous-Alexander prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Thursday’s Thunder vs. Spurs Game 6 in the Western Conference Finals.
The newest member of an exclusive club to ever win back-to-back NBA MVPs, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander averaged 31.1 points and 6.6 assists per game during the regular season. He stepped up his efficiency to produce a career-best 55.3% FG% as well, also posting a 38.6% 3P%. He also averaged 4.3 rebounds with 1.4 steals a night as well, though those aspects of his game pale in comparison to his reputation as a superstar scorer.
There have been some peaks and valleys to Gilgeous-Alexander’s playoff averages, which sit at 28.0 points, 8.2 dimes and 3.0 boards. The guard has shot just 46.3% from the field and 32.7% from deep to do so. One can argue his scoring has actually taken a step back in this environment, though he did finally pop off for a massive 32-point, nine-assist game in his last outing. It wasn’t always pretty as he shot just 7-for-19, but he did enough to power the Thunder to a crucial win in Game 5 to go up 3-2 in the Western Conference Finals.
Tonight, DraftKings Sportsbook lists Gilgeous-Alexander’s prop bet lines at O/U 29.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 7.5 assists, and 1.5 three pointers. His combined PTS + REB + AST line comes in at 41.5, down two ticks from last game.
The superstar guard has done enough this series to give his team a 3-2 lead, but it hasn’t exactly been pretty. He’s averaging 26.2 points but shooting only 38.8% from the field and 33.3% from three, which is more a compliment to the Spurs’ defensive talent rather than an indictment on his own play. Dealing with Stephon Castle, Dylan Harper and Victor Wembanyama isn’t an easy task by any means. Gilgeous-Alexander has also produced 9.8 assists and 3.0 rebounds per outing.
For what should be a very reliable hit rate, under 4.5 rebounds looks like a great pick. Gilgeous-Alexander only averages 3.0 rebounds per game in this series like we mentioned above, and he’s yet to bring down more than four in a game against the Spurs. He’s also gone under 4.5 boards in 12 of his 13 games this postseason, so again, the hit rate here across the playoffs is about as good as you can ask for. However, -148 odds aren’t the best as a standalone pick, so this is more of a builder play in parlays instead. Under 12.5 REB + AST is another similar option with him averaging 12.8 combined boards and dimes in the Western Conference Finals. While he’s gone over the line three times in this series, he’s stayed under it in eight of his 13 playoff games. The odds here are marginally better at -128.
