Blake Krass takes you through his preview, predictions, and best bets for the men’s and women’s side of the 2026 Wimbledon Championships.
The third major of the tennis season is approaching. London is awaiting all of the world’s best tennis players for the historic Wimbledon Championships. Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek are the defending singles champions.
These are my 2026 Wimbledon best bets to target on DraftKings Sportsbook in the futures market.

There is an incredibly exciting tournament ahead at Wimbledon. Jannik Sinner is still the clear favorite while Carlos Alcaraz is out of the picture. However, his early upset at Roland-Garros proved that anybody can win one of these majors if everything goes their way. Seven-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic will be the primary challenger to Sinner. Djokovic hopes to prove he has one more run in him at one of these majors. Meanwhile, Alexander Zverev is now a massive threat. He finally got the monkey off his back by winning his first career major at Roland-Garros. He will now have the confidence to try to win more major titles.
Ultimately, it does seem like this is Jannik Sinner’s tournament to lose. Sinner crashed out in the heat at Roland-Garros, but he is by far the best player in the world as long as Carlos Alcaraz is out. After his loss in the French Open, he will be motivated to bounce back in strong fashion and defend his title here at Wimbledon. Zverev took advantage of his big moment at Roland-Garros, but Sinner has won nine straight matches head-to-head against Zverev. If Zverev has to get through Sinner, I don’t back him to pull off the upset. I’m not going to be laying the -185 odds on Sinner to win, but I also won’t be betting against him in this tournament.

The next two players on the odds list are the Americans, Ben Shelton and Taylor Fritz. Both of those men are still trying to break the long drought of American men winning a Grand Slam title. Shelton has had some great performances at majors over the past couple of years, but has been unable to beat the top dogs and make a final. Taylor Fritz is arguably the most talented American men’s tennis player of the last 20 years, but he has also struggled to meet the moment on the big stage. However, Fritz did just make the Terra Wortmann Open final in the lead-up to Wimbledon, so he has positive momentum.
Here are the odds to be the top American man in the tournament:

Taylor Fritz is my pick to be the American man who makes it the furthest in the tournament. Shelton and Fritz are a level above the rest of the Americans at the moment. Fritz has been struggling with his health over the last few months, but his performance in Germany inspires some hope that he is fit and ready for this tournament. Fritz is the only American man of this generation to make a major final and should perform the best here.

On the women’s side, it is a wide-open tournament. World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka is still the favorite, but she has never won at Wimbledon before. Sabalenka has also underwhelmed at the majors so far in 2026. Elena Rybakina won the Australian Open to start the year but has cooled off since leaving the hardcourt. These are two players that I’m not interested in backing in this tournament.
Mirra Andreeva is the hot name heading into this tournament. The 19-year-old just won her first major title at Roland-Garros. She has the potential to be the best player in the sport and should win more major titles over the next decade. However, going back-to-back at the majors is a tough task. Iga Swiatek is the defending champion here at Wimbledon. However, her form is not good at all this year. These are two more players that I won’t be backing to win this tournament.

These are two interesting specials available on DraftKings Sportsbook. First of all, I would take the field against the Big Three. Sabelanka, Swiatek and Rybakina all have things going against them. While they are all brilliant players who are fully capable of winning this tournament if they get hot, they are not my top choices to win. I would be willing to lay that -165 to back the field to win.
Part of the reason I like the field is that an American has a great chance to win this tournament. Coco Gauff is always a threat to win at these majors. Meanwhile, Amanda Anisimova was a finalist at Wimbledon last year and could find her form again this time around. Jessica Pegula’s major form has also improved, making two semi-finals in the past three majors. Madison Keys and Iva Jovic are two more American women capable of getting hot and going on a run.
While it would be a miracle if she won the title, the great Serena Williams is also back in the field at Wimbledon for the first time since 2022. She likely doesn’t have enough in the tank to go on a run all the way to the title, but who am I to question the GOAT? As long as she is in the field, I won’t fully count out the seven-time Wimbledon champion. That is why my best bet is on any American woman to win the title.
