Norway thrashed every opponent in its path during European qualifying, but that wasn’t a guarantee that they’d keep that hot form going into the World Cup, especially since they were placed in a Group of Death featuring France, Senegal, and Iraq.
However, Norway silenced any doubts early on in their match against Iraq, trouncing their way to a 4-1 victory that sees them atop Group E after the first day of matches. They’ll have a proper test against Senegal at 8 p.m. ET in New York/New Jersey.
Throughout the World Cup, DraftKings Network will highlight some of the tournament’s big games, breaking down minute-by-minute action, live odds, and important stats.
