Check out some of the top NHL player prop bets and picks for Monday’s Stanley Cup Playoff slate.
Monday is upon us, but the Stanley Cup Playoffs are here to help us fight the blues. While tonight’s slate has only one game on it, the Minnesota Wild punched back against the Colorado Avalanche last time these teams faced off and have a real shot to even this second-round series at two games apiece if they can win again tonight. This’ll be a battle, so grab a bucket of popcorn and strap in for Game 4 at 8 p.m. ET.
Below, we’ll take a look at the best NHL player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for the playoff action.

He’s no star, but Ryan Hartman has been playing his role well for the Wild this postseason. The veteran has seven points in nine games via three goals and four assists, so his statistical production comes in at sixth among skaters on the Minnesota roster. He’s tallied at least in point in six of his nine games through these Stanley Cup Playoffs, so we see a reliable hit rate on the 1+ points prop here for sure, albeit over a small sample size. However, there’s more to this story. Hartman has been playing center on the top line due to the injury that’s kept Joel Eriksson Ek out for multiple games. In the usual starter’s absence, Hartman has done a pretty solid job with first-line forwards Kirill Kaprizov and Mats Zucarello. Playing alongside a guy like Kaprizov always makes anyone’s odds of tallying a point better, and beyond that, Hartman’s seeing more TOI than any forward besides the Russian star and Matt Boldy. I like his chances to notch a point again tonight.
At -160 odds, the value on this pick isn’t the greatest as a standalone play unless you’re working with a bigger bankroll. However, I do like it as a parlay play tonight. Nathan MacKinnon is, as expected, a finalist for the Hart Memorial Trophy. The superstar forward tallied a staggering 127 points and won the Rocket Richard Trophy thanks to his 53 goals, also averaging 4.375 shots on goal per game during the regular season. In the playoffs, he continues to lead the Avalanche with 11 points on five goals and six assists. The part we want to focus on here is that his 25 shots on goal are also a team high, which comes out to an average of 3.571 per game. MacKinnon has gone over 3.5 shots on goal in five of his seven postseason appearances so far, also eclipsing the line in every game of this series. He should be active as always, so I’m perfectly happy to take such a reliable pick even if the odds aren’t impressive.
