There’s only one game tonight with the Timberwolves visiting the Spurs at 8 PM EST for a Game 5.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
For someone who’s averaging 21.9 PPG in his first-ever playoff run, this line tonight seems a bit unreachable. Wembanyama is capable of massive scoring nights, as evidenced by his recent 39 point Game 3 performance in which he shot 13/18 from the field and 10/12 from the line. These nights are, however, not the norm. Wembanyama was ejected early in Game 4, and his absence spelled doom for the Spurs, as they fell to the Wolves by 5 points to even the series 2-2. The Wolves’ Gobert-led defense has had mixed results defending Wembanyama, but looks alright for the most part. They limited Wembanyama to 11 and 19 points in the first two games of this series, and it would take another hot shooting night for him to hit 30. With De’Aaron Fox potentially limited tonight, there could be a few more shots going Wemby’s way, but given his importance on defense and the amount of energy he needs to exert on that end, it’s tough to see him going huge in the points department.

Both of the Stephon Castle and Dylan Harper point predictions will revolve around De’Aaron Fox’s status tonight. For those of you who watched his ankle injury, it’s possible that Fox will be out or limited in some capacity tonight. If that’s the case, then we’ll see a bit more from Castle, who put up 20 points last game sans-Wemby. Castle averaged 16.7 PPG in the regular season. He’s stepped up in the playoffs with 18.9 PPG on 44.3% shooting from the field. He’s been a +7 overall and looks like a valuable piece for years to come for this budding Spurs team. Given his recent playoff form and a potential injury to Fox, I’m banking on Castle going for More than 17.5 tonight as they look to get a leg up against the Wolves.

Like Castle, Harper also potentially stands to benefit from a limited Fox tonight. The rookie standout is averaging 13.8 PPG in his first-ever postseason run and has topped 20 points twice, once in Game 3 of the first round against the Trail Blazers and again in Game 4 two days ago against the Timberwolves after Wembanyama was ejected early. Harper’s potential is sky-high, and if there’s room for him to step into a larger role, there could be opportunity tonight for him to showcase his talent.

Pick6 is a peer-to-peer fantasy variant where you build a lineup (your “Pick Set”) of at least two players and select whether you believe each will outperform their listed stat projection. Enter your Pick Set in Pick6 contests to compete against other users. Get enough picks correct and win a share of cash prizes.
Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you cannot pick the same player twice and you must select players from at least two different teams.
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
