After squeaking out two overtime wins, Carolina left no doubt in Game 4, as Sebastian Aho, Jordan Staal, and Logan Stankoven all scored late in the first period. The Hurricanes added an empty netter in the third period en route to a 4-0 victory.
Carolina out-shot Montreal, 42-18, and had six power play opportunities.
Now staked to a 3-1 series lead, Carolina goes home with the chance to close out the series and meet the Vegas Golden Knights in the Stanley Cup Final.
