Pete Alonso More Than 1.5 Total Bases

Pete Alonso has been red hot ever since the calendar turned to May. He has a .364 batting average and a 1.371 OPS over his past six games. That includes a three-run home run that he hit on Wednesday night against the Marlins. Alonso will look to repeat that performance in Miami with Max Meyer on the mound. Meyer has been really solid in his last two starts, but this is a guy that Alonso has hit hard in the past. Alonso is 2/4 with a home run in his career against Meyer, which comes out to a 1.850 career OPS. Alonso has really struggled against lefties this season, but has an .864 OPS against right-handers. Alonso should ride the momentum of the past few games and generate an extra-base hit in this game.

Ryan O’Hearn More Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs

Ryan O’Hearn is having a solid start to his season. He has a .294 batting average and an .833 OPS this season. O’Hearn should keep that success going against Zac Gallen and the Diamondbacks. O’Hearn has hit Gallen hard over the years. In 12 career at-bats against Gallen, O’Hearn has six hits, including two doubles and a home run. That comes out to a 1.455 OPS against Gallen. Gallen got shelled for six earned runs in his most recent start against the Cubs. O’Hearn should take advantage of his poor form and get a base hit while generating some runs. If it gets to the bullpen, O’Hearn should continue to have success there. The Diamondbacks have a 4.66 bullpen ERA this season, a bottom-10 mark in baseball. Ryan O’Hearn should be in for a great game against Arizona.

Shota Imanaga More Than 5.5 Strikeouts Thrown

Shota Imanaga is having a great season for the Cubs. Through seven starts, he has a 2.40 ERA. Imanaga’s strikeout numbers are also the best of his career, averaging 9.4 K/9. He should continue that success today against a Reds lineup that has struggled against left-handed pitching this season. Cincinnati is striking out at the fourth-highest rate in baseball against lefties this season, with a K-percentage of 26.3%. Imanaga has also been much better at home this season, with a 1.80 ERA at Wrigley Field. In his home start against the Reds last season, Imanaga struck out seven batters. He should do the same this time around.

When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.

Compete for Prizes

Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
