Charlie Cummings details his top Alex Caruso prop bets for Saturday’s Game 7 between the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs.
Cliches are cliches for a reason. You cannot stress enough that the two best words in sports are Game Seven. Arguably the two best teams in basketball, the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs, will clash Saturday night with a trip to the NBA Finals on the line. OKC is on the ropes in a way we haven’t seen in two years, and they need all hands on deck. That includes Alex Caruso, one of the most important pieces of its championship core.
The Thunder enter as 3.5-point home favorites with -148 moneyline odds on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Spurs are +124 underdogs, with the game total set at 212.5 points.

Let’s dig into the best prop bets for Oklahoma City’s sixth man extraordinaire.
The playoffs are different from the regular season in so many ways. Offenses move differently, whistles aren’t the same, and defenses set the tone. It also has a drastic effect on home/road splits, and Alex Caruso is the final boss of playoff home cooking. This series, he’s taking it to a new level.
In three home games against the Spurs, Caruso has put up 70 total points while hitting 15 of 26 three-pointers (57.7%). In the road games, Caruso has 22 total points while shooting four of eight from deep (50%). It’s jarring to see the gap in his confidence at home versus on the road.
Caruso’s shooting is directly tied to how the Spurs want to defend Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Game 1 was the most jarring example, when Victor Wembanyama “guarded” Caruso by leaving him open, shutting down SGA’s drives. That resulted in a win for the Spurs — but Caruso scored 31 points.
San Antonio has been less dogmatic in using that tactic as the series has gone on, especially with Jalen Williams and Ajay Mitchell sidelined. But that doesn’t faze Mark Daigneault and his tactics. Placing Caruso one or two passes away from SGA has led to many open looks as the defense shades the MVP.
A lot of this comes down to confidence. The shots will be there, and the evidence shows that with the home crowd behind him, Caruso is willing to pull the trigger. Whether or not that’s enough to win the game is another question entirely — but a big scoring game is there for the taking.
