Check out some of the best Victor Wembanyama player prop bets for Spurs vs. Knicks Game 5 in the 2026 NBA Finals.
Only 15 NBA teams have ever come back to win after falling behind 3-1 in a playoff series. Victor Wembanyama will certainly be motivated with his team trailing in such a deficit in the Finals, but the task at hand is simple survive at home tonight and keep the season alive for one more day.
Here are the top Victor Wembanyama prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Saturday’s Spurs vs. Knicks Game 5 in the NBA Finals.
It’s clear to see that Victor Wembanyama is one of the best basketball players on Earth, perhaps to ever walk the planet throughout its history at that. They just don’t make 7-foot-4 freaks who can put the ball on the floor, knock down shots off the dribble and still get back to erase a layup attempt on the other end. In his first-ever appearance in the NBA Playoffs, the Frenchman is averaging 24.0 points, 10.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game with 4.5 combined stocks. He’s also shooting 49.1% overall and 35.2% from deep over his 21 appearances while leading the Spurs’ charge to the Finals.
However, Wembanyama has appeared fallible for the first time during this run. Despite a line of 26 points and 12 boards in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, he shot just 28.6% in that one with six turnovers. He looked better in Game 2 with 29 points and nine boards in a loss, then led the way with 32 points on 61.1% shooting in a Game 3 win. However, that was sandwiched by 24 points and 13 rebounds on an ugly 36.0% FG% in Game 4. The young superstar hasn’t been unbeatable by any means against the Knicks.
Tonight, DraftKings Sportsbook lists Wembanyama’s prop bet lines at O/U 28.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 three pointers. His combined PTS + REB + AST line comes in at 44.5.
The Spurs will need everything they can get from their franchise cornerstone, but there’s no guarantee he provides the kind of game-breaking production to single-handedly carry his team. The top prop pick for tonight looks like the under on 40.5 combined PTS + REB for one key reason. Wembanyama is averaging 34.7 combined PTS + REB this postseason overall and 38.5 over the course of four games in this series, but he’s yet to go over tonight’s line once in the Finals. His tallies have come very close at 38, 38, 40 and 37, but even flirting with the line still means he’s gone under tonight’s prop in all four outings. That’s certainly interesting.
Perhaps that’s due to something the Knicks are doing on defense to force him into some rougher shooting nights, or maybe it’s the presence of Karl-Anthony Towns in the paint alongside some forwards who can crash the glass. It’s not just New York that’s limited Wembanyama in this prop market, though. Dating back to the start of the Western Conference Finals, the center has remained under tonight’s line of 40.5 PTS + REB in nine-of-11 games. That includes the last three matchups of that series against the Oklahoma City Thunder, meaning he’s finished shy of this mark in seven straight games. This is the kind of momentum and reliable hit rate we like to see, so given the pressure of the moment and recent form, I’m very comfortable fading the star in Game 5.
