Alex Hunter breaks down his favorite WNBA player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Thursday’s two-game slate.
On tap for Thursday is a two-game WNBA slate. The Wings are hosting the Aces, and the Valkyries are hosting the Fever. Below, I have featured three of my favorite WNBA player prop bets for these contests on DraftKings Sportsbook.
For the second time in a week, the Fever will be facing the Valkyries. In the first matchup, Mitchell scored 19 points across 31 minutes, and most of her production came at the charity stripe, with the guard going 11-of-11 on free throws. Mitchell getting to the line this much again is highly unlikely, and she should once again fall short of 19.5 points vs. Golden State.
The Valkyries are the worst possible matchup in the WNBA. They rank first in defensive rating and dead last in pace. Golden State will be on its home floor for this matchup, and 19.5 points is just too high a bar for Mitchell in this brutal spot.
Young has been a shell of herself this season. The 28-year-old averaged 16.5 PPG and was named to her fourth straight All-Star team last season, but in 2026, Young is averaging just 9.3 PPG. The guard has stayed under 15.5 points in all but one of her six games, and she shockingly has gone without a point in back-to-back starts, despite logging 34 and 19 minutes in these tilts.
Young is shooting just 34% from the field and 18% on three-pointers. Furthermore, her usage is at 21.3% after seeing a 24.3% rate a year ago, as Chennedy Carter joining the Aces has clearly affected Young’s role. Even going against a Wings’ defense that ranks 11th in rating tonight, it’s hard to have any faith in Young clearing this 15.5-point line.
At these appealing +147 odds, Salaun is a terrific bet for this under. The 24-year-old is shooting 32% from beyond the arc this season, and she has fallen short of 1.5 made three-pointers in three of her last four, including a matchup vs. the Fever in which Salaun went 0-4 on three-pointers.
The bench player is going against Indiana again tonight, and Salaun struggling from deep again is very possible. The Fever rank second in defensive rating this season, and they are allowing the fewest made three-pointers per game (6.0).
