Check out some of the best Evan Mobley prop bets for Cavaliers vs. Knicks Game 4 in the NBA Playoffs.
Monday night brings Game 4 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals. At 8 p.m. ET, the Cleveland Cavaliers try and keep their season alive as they tiptoe the cliffside of elimination. Evan Mobley has played a key role for the Cavs this postseason as a secondary scorer and crucial defender, but the team seems to need more from him as they face a win-or-go-home scenario. Can he step up and deliver?
Here are the top Evan Mobley prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Monday’s Cavaliers vs. Knicks Game 4 in the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Cavaliers are backed against the wall. Down three games to none, they’re on their own floor tonight in front of the hometown crowd in Cleveland but are facing a Knicks team that’s now won all three games of this series by double digits. The situation cannot get more dire than this one, especially given that no team has ever come back to win a series when facing a 3-0 deficit.
Now in his fifth season with the Cavs, the 24-year-old Mobley has been a massive piece in the team’s jump to perennial playoff contention. This year, he produced 18.2 points per game to go along with 3.6 assists, shooting 54.6% overall from the field. His ability on the other end of the ball is much more impressive and is his calling card, putting up 9.0 rebounds and 2.4 combined stocks per game while being extremely switchable on the perimeter for a big man. His performance in these playoffs has been solid, if unspectacular though. Mobley’s bringing 17.1 points, 8.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists to go along with 2.8 stocks, shooting 54.0% overall and 34.3% from deep. With the season on the line, you just want to see a little bit more.
On Monday, DraftKings Sportsbook lists Mobley’s prop bet lines at O/U 16.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.5 three pointers. His combined PTS + REB + AST line comes in at 29.5.
Over the course of this season with the playoffs included, Mobley has faced off against the Knicks on six occasions. He’s averaging 16.8 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists over this sample, hitting 52.0% of his shots and 37.0% from deep. In this series along, he’s posting 17.7 points, 8.7 boards and 2.7 dimes.
The two best prop bets to consider in this game are under 3.5 assists and under 8.5 rebounds for the big man. On the dimes pick, Mobley has stayed under 3.5 assists in every single one of those six games against New York this season, likely coming as a result of a strong opposing defense that makes it tougher for teammates to knock down shots. With an average of just 2.5 assists per game in this season split, this under makes for a really compelling pick at -105 odds.
If you’re looking for another option, the under on rebounds also looks good. Mobley has good size as a 7-footer in shoes and a long wingspan, but he’s just 215 pounds and doesn’t have the strength to battle with Karl-Anthony Towns in the post. Yes, Jarrett Allen handles center duties for Cleveland and will put his body on the Knicks’ star more often than not, but Towns is still one of the best rebounders in the sport and has support in wings like OG Anunoby and Mikal Bridges. The under on this prop line has cashed in four of the six total meetings against New York this year.
If I had to choose, I’d lean towards taking under 3.5 dimes as the top pick tonight given the perfect hit rate in the season series and the fact that the Cavs may lean even more heavily on their perimeter creators given the stakes.
