Stan Son takes a look at the opening odds for Game 5 between the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2026 NBA Playoffs.
After losing home court advantage with the 122-115 double-overtime loss in Game 1, the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder didn’t panic. No sir. Poise was maintained while adjustments were made, resulting in two straight wins, wrestling home court advantage back into their corner.
On Sunday, the Spurs said No Mas! The defense was relentless, holding the Thunder to 33% shooting from the field. The bench mob that lit up the Spurs in the prior two games was held to 32 points total.
Every time the Thunder made a run, the Spurs took offense and responded with the highs of “No, No, No!” while the bass bumped with bucket after bucket.
OKC had 20 turnovers compared to only 13 for the Spurs. San Antonio also won the points-in-the-paint battle, 50-36.
The series is now tied at two apiece as the Thunder fans get their chance to lose their voices. Giddyup.
With the matchup set, DraftKings Sportsbook has listed opening odds for Game 5 of this series, which takes place Tuesday at 8:40 p.m. ET. The Thunder enter as 5.5-point favorites with -218 odds to win on the moneyline. The Spurs are +180 underdogs with the game total set at 215.5 combined points.
