Cooper Albers shares his top player prop bets for Sunday’s MLB slate.
All 30 MLB clubs are in action on Sunday, bringing plenty of star power and value across the board.
Let’s dive into three of the strongest player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Boston southpaw Ranger Suarez has been much more effective on the road this season, sporting a 1.99 ERA in four starts outside of Fenway Park. Still, the former All-Star has struggled to generate strikeouts wherever he’s pitching. He owns a middling 22.1% K-rate in 2026, falling below 4.5 strikeouts in seven of his first 10 starts.
It seems incredibly unlikely that Suarez, 30, bucks the trend Sunday afternoon against the Guardians. Cleveland — which has gone an American League-best 13–5 since May 11 — has posted the third-lowest strikeout rate (19.9%) in baseball this season.
Junior Caminero must’ve missed the Trop. Fresh off mashing 45 homers in 2025, the 22-year-old star third baseman boasts a .996 OPS in his first 26 games at Tampa Bay’s restored ballpark.
The righty slugger went 4-for-7 with three doubles in the first two matchups with the Angels, tallying three or more total bases in both contests. He should stay hot against struggling LA right-hander Jack Kochanowicz, who enters Sunday afternoon with a paltry 7.52 ERA across five May starts (26.1 IP).
What a season it’s been for Jake Bauers, a former journeyman who has found a home in Milwaukee. The lefty first baseman, 30, is hitting .281 with an .832 OPS this season — both career highs by a wide margin — while adding eight home runs for the Brewers.
Bauers has been even better this month, entering the final day of May with a .313 average and a .925 OPS since the calendar flipped. He went 1-for-4 on Saturday and should pick up another base knock against struggling Astros starter Tatsuya Imai. The 28-year-old righty has gotten crushed to the tune of a 6.17 ERA (5.67 xERA) and a 1.50 WHIP through his first six MLB starts (23.1 IP).
