Hagel has scored four goals in this series and in 11 of his past 20 road outings dating back to the start of the new year. Tampa Bay’s second line, comprised of Hagel, Anthony Cirelli and Jake Guentzel, holds a 71.4% xGoals% through the first three games. I’d expect some more urgency from the Lightning in this one, and Hagel is just one of three players with four or more goals this postseason. He is also tied for the second-most takeaways this postseason, which could lead to more opportunities in the offensive zone.
Draisaitl has notched two points in each of the first three games of the series, and he has found plenty of success against the Ducks in the past. He has recorded 2+ points in a whopping 12 of his last 16 meetings against Anaheim. Plus, Game 4 is predicted to be another high-scoring affair, with the game’s total set at O/U 7.5 goals. Given the projected game script, I’m certainly not worried about Draisaitl not being involved in the festivities. There have been 16 combined power play opportunities thus far, which only increases Draisaitl’s chances of padding the stat sheet.
