The PGA Championship payout on DraftKings gets a major boost with the “King of the Course” promotion, giving bettors a chance to win a share of a $1,000,000 Bonus Bet prize pool. Instead of needing your golfer to win the tournament, this promo rewards players who pick the golfer with the most birdies (or better) through the first two rounds.
If you’re looking to understand how the DraftKings King of the Course payout works, how to qualify, and what counts toward the prize, this FAQ breaks down everything you need to know.

The DraftKings King of the Course promotion is a PGA Championship betting offer where users can win a share of a $1,000,000 payout by selecting the golfer with the most birdies or better through the first two rounds.
The King of the Course payout is split evenly among all eligible winners. If your selected golfer records the most birdies or better through Rounds 1 and 2, you win a share of the $1,000,000 Bonus Bet prize pool.
King of the Course is the golfer with the most holes under par, including birdies, eagles, and better, across Rounds 1 and 2 only. Playoff holes do not count.
Opt in to the promotion, receive your Qualifying Bet Token, and place a $5+ pre-tournament outright winner bet using the token before the event starts.
Only pre-tournament outright winner bets qualify. The minimum bet is $5, and wagers must be placed using cash or DK Dollars with the token applied.
If your golfer leads in birdies or better after Round 2, you receive a share of the $1,000,000 payout, awarded as Bonus Bets.
If there is a tie, the payout is split evenly among all customers who selected any of the tied golfers.
If no one selects the King of the Course, the payout goes to customers who picked the golfer with the next-highest birdie total.
The Qualifying Bet Token expires at the start of the PGA Championship (6:45 AM ET on May 14) and must be used before placing your bet.
Bonus Bets are credited within 24 to 72 hours after Round 2 is completed, depending on event timing.
Bonus Bets are non-withdrawable, expire in 14 days, and return profit only (stake not included).
Users must be 21+ (18+ in select jurisdictions), located in an eligible state, and have a valid DraftKings Sportsbook account.
Non-outright bets, boosted wagers, Bonus Bet wagers, cashed-out bets, and voided bets are not eligible.
