Gavin Williams More Than 5.5 Strikeouts Thrown (Promo Pick)

There are some great promo picks available on DraftKings Pick6 today. My favorite is this one, which only requires Gavin Williams to throw more than 5.5 strikeouts rather than 6.5 strikeouts for this to be a winning pick. Gavin Williams is having a really solid season. He has a middling 3.67 ERA, but where he has really excelled is with his strikeouts. Williams has 73 strikeouts this season, the sixth-most in baseball. He is averaging 10.7 K/9 this season, which would be by far the best mark of his career if he can maintain it. Williams should keep it going against the Phillies tonight. Philadelphia ranks 16th in the MLB in K% and 19th in OPS against right-handed pitchers this season. Williams has at least six strikeouts in each of his four starts. He should keep that momentum going tonight and get over this promo pick number.

Bobby Witt Jr. More Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs

Bobby Witt Jr. looks to be putting together another great season with Kansas City. Witt has a .299 batting average and an .852 OPS this season. After a bit of a slower start, Witt is batting .316 with a .939 OPS in May. He should hit Logan Gilbert hard in the series opener against Seattle. Gilbert has a 4.45 ERA this season and just gave up seven runs to San Diego in his most recent start. Bobby Witt has always gotten the better of Gilbert over the years as well. He is 7-for-14 with a home run in his career against Gilbert, which comes out to a 1.325 OPS. Witt has at least one hit in 12 of his past 13 games. He should have no problem registering another hit tonight against Gilbert. Plus, with the way Gilbert struggled in his last start, Witt should be able to generate a run for his team as well.

Luis Garcia Jr. More Than 0.5 Hits

The Nationals’ lineup has been incredibly exciting this season. They lead the MLB in runs scored this season and rank fourth in team OPS. Luis Garcia Jr. has by no means been the star of this team, but he has played his role in the team’s success. Garcia ranks fourth on the team in hits this season, with a .260 batting average to his name. Luis Garcia Jr. will be excited to face Bryce Elder and the Braves tonight. Garcia has crushed Elder over the years. He is 5-for-11 in his career against Elder, with three of those five hits going for extra bases. Garcia has actually been much better away from home this season, with a .289 batting average and a .782 OPS on the road this season. He should head to Atlanta and pick up a base hit in this series opener.

Compete for Prizes
