Garion Thorne analyzes the three most-bet props for the first-round of the 2026 NBA Draft.
Wondering what bets are popular among the public ahead of the first-round of the 2026 NBA Draft? Well, look no further.
I’ve taken tonight’s most-bet NBA Draft props on DraftKings Sportsbook and broken down exactly why the public is so fond of these, helping you make informed picks ahead of Tuesday’s event.
Let’s dive into it.
No. 1 Pick – AJ Dybantsa: The public won’t have to wait long to see the result of the most-bet NBA Draft prop on the DraftKings Sportsbook. Unlike most years, there is no true consensus No. 1 pick. Instead, there’s a group of three names: Dybantsa, Darryn Peterson and Cameron Boozer. However, Dybantsa has seen his odds steadily rise in the past few days, and that goes hand-in-hand with bettors’ love of this prop. The BYU product had a sensational freshman campaign, averaging 25.5 points and 6.8 rebounds per contest. If the is, in fact, the first player taken this evening, Dybantsa would join a suddenly very intriguing roster in Washington, set to suit up alongside Trae Young and Anthony Davis.
Yaxel Lendeborg to be Drafted in the Top 10, Yes: Lendeborg is an interesting prospect. At 23-years-old he’s far more seasoned than most players who will shake Adam Silver’s hand this evening, and sometimes that is held against even someone as accomplished as the 6’9 forward. There’s also been rumors of Lendeborg not finishing workouts leading up to the Draft, as a result of conditioning or a lingering leg issue — not generally the kind of buzz you want from a potential top 10 pick. Still, I get the draw to this prop. At +200 odds, it’s not something the book expects to happen, but I assume the backers of this bet all have a similar reasoning. The Mavericks pick at No. 9, and Dallas just hired former Michigan head coach Dusty May. You don’t need to be a conspiracy theorist to see the connections being made here.
Cameron Carr to be Drafted in the Top 10, Yes: This one’s a little bit more of a long shot. Carr currently owns +600 odds of being a top 10 pick on the DraftKings Sportsbook, and most mocks I’ve seen have Carr going to the Bulls at pick No. 15 — including Sean Barnard’s for DKN. Carr exploded onto the scene in his junior season after a transfer from Tennessee to Baylor. In 2025-26, the 6’5 guard averaged 18.9 points per game and shot 37.4% from three-point range. However, Carr also came out as a massive winner in the NBA Combine process, and his 7’1 wingspan is surely enough to tantalize a couple GMs at the top of the draft. He’d need to catch a lot of helium, but we’ve all seen crazier things on draft night, right?
