(Stats taken from DraftKings Sportsbook’s Stats Hub)
Victor Wembanyama Triple-Double (+3500): It’s not surprising that Wemby is in the most bet prop of the day, or even that the public is high on him doing something huge. The fact that this stretch pick is the most bet prop, though, shows just how excited everyone is to see what he has in store for Game 4. The public is expecting a monster game from Wemby as his Spurs look to level the series at 2-2.
In the playoffs, Wemby is averaging 22.4 points, 11.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists. He had a massive 41-point, 24-rebound game in Game 1, and he came his closest to a triple-double in Game 2, when he had 21 points, 17 rebounds and six assists. In Game 3, he had 26 points but only four rebounds and three assists. During the regular season, Wemby had one triple-double with 31 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists against the Bulls on Nov. 12. He also had a triple-double in Game 1 against the Timberwolves with 11 points, 15 rebounds and 12 blocks. While it’s clearly a longshot at 35:1, the public is expecting some magic from the 22-year-old Frenchman in Game 4 and is hoping this prop turns out to be great value.
Luguentz Dort 3+ Assists (+600): With Ajay Mitchell (calf) out and Jalen Williams (hamstring) questionable, Dort could be forced to step into a larger role on offense in Game 4. He typically gets plenty of playing time due to his defensive contributions, but he has handed out three assists in each of the last two games. He played a series-high 23 minutes in Game 3 and missed his only field goal attempt. If he keeps getting his teammates involved, though, he could be a great value at 6:1 in this player prop Sunday night.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 8+ Assists (-131): The top non-longshot play the public is chasing this Sunday night is SGA to get at least eight assists. The Thunder point guard has gone over this prop line in five straight games, including all three of his games against the Spurs in this series. He had 12 assists in Game 1 and in Game 3, while handing out nine assists in Game 2. Even though his scoring has been below his season average, SGA’s still running the Thunder’s offense extremely well, and if he hands out eight helpers on Sunday in Game 4, lots of bettors will go home happy with green on this prop.
Taking three of the most-bet player props individually is always an option, but why not roll them into a parlay and get in on all the action at once? It’s a fun way to tie everything together — feel free to tag along.
