Both fighters in this contest are the same height (5’6″). Garner has an undefeated 19-0 record with 10 knockouts. Two of his 10 knockouts have come in his previous two fights. The winner of this contest could earn a future shot at O’Shaquie Foster’s WBC Super Featherweight title.

Magnesi is a former IBO Super Featherweight Champion, having held the title from 2020 to 2022. Since losing the title, he has gone 5-1 with a loss to Masanori Rikiishi in that span. He last beat Marcos Martinez in February. Magnesi does have an edge in experience in this contest, as he is three years older and has nine more fights on his resume.

Garner is a massive -600 favorite in this bout, with Magnesi being a +400 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook. This fight has an over/under of 10.5 rounds, with the over at -225 and the under at +165. Although Magnesi has big fight experience, I think this is Garner’s crowning moment and one that he will seize in his hometown. Garner has scored two straight knockouts, and four of his previous seven wins have come by knockout.
