Alex Hunter breaks down his favorite WNBA player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Monday’s two-game slate.
Monday presents a two-game WNBA slate. The Wings are hosting the Storm and the Mercury are hosting the Lynx. Below, I have featured three of my favorite WNBA player prop bets for these contests on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Bonner was solid to start the season, but then, the 38-year-old was moved from the Mercury’s starting lineup to the bench three games ago and her numbers have unsurprisingly suffered. Playing a reserve role in the last three, Bonner has scored just four, two and four points. The veteran is logging 23.3 minutes per game and handling a 12% usage rate as a bench player compared to logging 29 minutes per game and seeing a 16.6% usage rate as a starter.
Bonner is shooting 36% from the field this season and she shouldn’t do much scoring tonight vs. the top-seeded Lynx, who comfortably lead the WNBA in defensive rating this season.
The Lynx easily rank first in defensive rating and they are limiting their opponents to the lowest three-point percentage in the league. Copper has been dreadful with her outside shot this season and she is an awesome bet for under 1.5 made three-pointers at this +128 price.
Copper is shooting a career-worst 16% on three-pointers and she is only averaging 1.0 made trey per game. Copper did hit two treys when she faced Minnesota last month, but this was a rare sight, as she has only hit multiple three-pointers in 2-of-9 games.
With Dominique Malonga (concussion) missing her seventh straight, Hiedeman is a great bet for over 20.5 PRA. Malonga leads the Storm in usage rate this season and with her sidelined for the last six, Hiedeman is averaging 16.6 points, 4.3 assists and 1.7 rebounds per game.
The lefty has exceeded 20.5 PRA in four of these six games and during this stretch, she is shooting 44% from the field and handling a 26% usage rate, which is a big jump from the 20.3% rate Hiedeman is averaging with Malonga active. Add in a plus matchup vs. the Wings, who rank 12th in defensive rating this season, and Hiedeman should effortlessly top 20.5 PRA tonight.
