Pearce Dietrich helps you build your DraftKings Pick6 pick sets for the NASCAR Cup Series Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte.
The NASCAR Cup Series Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte is on Sunday, and DraftKings is offering a new way to play fantasy NASCAR. The game is simple. Build a “Pick Set” (2+ drivers) and decide if they will outperform their stat projections. Here is some advice to help build your DraftKings Pick6 Pick Sets for the NASCAR Cup Series Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte.
This has been a tough week for NASCAR. It won’t be easy for the drivers on Sunday. This 600-mile endurance race is one of the most challenging races on the circuit. Drivers must be locked in for 400 laps. That’s a normal Memorial Day Weekend race. This year, drivers will battle emotions and the elements. The loss of Kyle Busch and the weather have made for a long weekend. Only a seasoned veteran driver will have the mental fortitude to win the Coca-Cola 600.
Hamlin doesn’t need to win or even secure a podium position. A fourth-place finish wins the pick. That would be his worst intermediate-track finish of the season. Hamlin won at Las Vegas and was the runner-up at Texas. He finished fourth at Kansas. In 2023, Hamlin won the Coca-Cola 600.
This season hasn’t been great. The 2025 season wasn’t great and Kyle Larson won the Cup Series Championship. The bar is set very high. Larson is expected to win every week. When he doesn’t, there’s disappointment. This creates the illusion that Larson is struggling. Yung Money is fine. Consistently winning races in the Gen-7 car is not easy. The new 2026 Chevy body hasn’t made the challenge any easier.
Larson was the runner-up at Kansas. His 78 laps led were the second-most to Denny Hamlin’s 131 laps led. The Hendrick No. 5 Chevy has speed every week. It has speed this week. Larson had a top-five car in practice. A top-five finish is all Larson needs to accomplish with this pick.
At any other track, Reddick would be a lock for more than 63.5 fantasy points. He’s starting on the pole. Hog Points (fast-lap and lap-led points) have been gifted to a driver that doesn’t need handouts. That’s a normal weekend. The 23XI No. 45 Toyota may not receive a gift.
Weather has been an issue all weekend. It started raining in Charlotte on Friday, and it’s not supposed to stop until next Friday. This won’t be a clean 400 laps. There will be plenty of cautions and strategies. It does not appear that Reddick will get to cruise out front to start the race. The Coca-Cola 600 will start and stop, and start and stop. Leaders will cycle in and out as crew chiefs play 4D chess and moonlight as novice weathermen. A lot can easily go wrong to limit Reddick’s potential to score.

Pick6 is a peer-to-peer fantasy variant where you build a lineup (your “Pick Set”) of 2+ players and select whether you believe each will outperform their listed stat projection. Enter your Pick Set in Pick6 contests to compete against other users. Get enough picks correct and win a share of cash prizes.
Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you can not pick the same player twice and you must pick players from at least two different teams.
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
