Cooper Albers details his predictions for the third week of Love Island USA Season Eight.
We’re nearing the halfway point of Love Island USA Season Eight, with two fan votes already behind us — and Casa Amor looming ahead. With all the buzz surrounding where the drama leads next, let’s dive into my predictions for the show heading into Week 3.
There’s no doubt that Sincere has feelings for both Sol and Melanie. However, it seems that what he truly loves is “the chase,” constantly in pursuit of what he can’t have in the present moment.
Originally coupled up with Melanie, Sincere quickly shifted his attention to Sol when she first arrived. But once America paired him up with the new bombshell, his focus swung back to his original connection. Even after writing to Melanie during Tuesday’s love-letter challenge, Sincere’s track record forecasts even more flip-flopping in the coming days.
The hotly anticipated Casa Amor is just around the corner, stamped with a limited theatrical release on Monday, June 22. And with several strong couples in the villa, it seems safe to assume that at least one pairing will attempt to close things off before the great separation.
The likeliest pick is Kayda and Zach, who have already spent an intimate night in the private Hideaway. There’s also Trinity and Bryce, or even Aniya and KC, who each got on the same page during Tuesday’s love-letter challenge.
Whether those bonds actually survive Casa is anyone’s guess.
This one dips into the realm of pure speculation. A few days ago, America voted for its favorite couple, which should, in turn, leave the least-supported pairings at risk of elimination. Given Gabriel’s quick pivot away from Beatriz, along with Jen’s limited screen presence so far, it’s hard to see them competing with the stronger, more established couples in the villa.
There’s no confirmation yet on how the vote will shake out, and the results could easily prove me wrong. Still, it feels like Gabriel and Jen could be one of those “on the bubble” couples to watch closely as we near another recoupling.
