Two weeks since the last Formula 1 event, the grid comes to life once again this weekend at one of the most iconic events in the history of motorsport. The Monaco Grand Prix brings plenty of intrigue as a hometown race for Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, but some recent changes from the FIA may make the field even more competitive after addressing a controversial Mercedes loophole.
The first leg of the European schedule takes place at 9 a.m. ET on Sunday, June 7. Here, we’ll dive in for a look at the odds and lines leaderboard for the Monaco Grand Prix courtesy of F1 betting markets on DraftKings Sportsbook.
There’s a ton of history in the annuls of the Monaco Grand Prix, with the first running dating back to 1929. The iconic circuit runs through the streets of the Italian city and is the only Grand Prix that doesn’t adhere to the FIA’s 305-km guideline for F1 events. In total, drivers will take 78 laps, with the fastest recorded lap a time of 1:13.221 set by McLaren’s Lando Norris.
After sitting atop the leaderboard on DraftKings Sportsbook in just about every race this season, Mercedes drivers Kimi Antonelli and George Russell have dropped on DraftKings Sportsbook. Despite the team holding a very comfortable 72-point in the standings after Antonelli won the last four Grands Prix, the teenager and his elder teammate hold identical +550 odds to win outright and -105 odds to finish on the podium. The reason for that? It largely comes as a result of the FIA closing a loophole that allowed Mercedes to utilize an loophole that allowed the team to up their engine compression ratio above the legal 16:1 limit. Testing will now take place with the engine warmed to 130 degrees rather than at pit-lane temperatures, meaning Mercedes will likely have made some changes.
At the top of the DraftKings Sportsbook odds leaderboard for the Monaco GP are both Ferrari drivers. Charles Leclerc, returning home for this event and wearing a special racing suit inspired by the city for the occasion, enters as the favorite to win at +200 odds and -190 for the podium. Teammate Lewis Hamilton comes in at third with +350 odds of a win and -165 odds for a podium result. Their performance has been shaky at times this season, but there’s certainly a fun narrative for the Scuderia drivers, especially after they finished fourth and second at the Canadian Grand Prix, repsectively.
It was a down race for McLaren last time out and both drivers have dropped on the leaderboard as well. Lando Norris finished second in Miami but logged a DNF in Canada, now entering at fifth with a +650/+125 split. Teammate Oscar Piastri is seventh at +900 to win and +185 for the podium as well. Sandwiched between the pair is Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen, who just recorded his best event of the year with a third-place result last time out. His odds to win are +850 with +175 odds to finish in the top three.
The remainder of the field comes in at much longer odds to win the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix, holding a minimum of +2200 odds to record a podium result. It includes the following racers, with the figures next to their names indicating odds of a top-10 finish rather than a win or podium appearance:
