The MLB season is picking up steam. There are far more ways to get involved in the action this season than just via traditional betting. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Baseball!
Here are my top Pick6 plays for today’s MLB slate.
Cal Raleigh had a remarkable 2025 season and established himself as one of the best hitters in baseball. However, his start to the 2026 season was an utter disaster. Through the first 16 games of the season, Raleigh had a .133 batting average. Through the first 23 games, he had only hit two home runs. However, he has found his power again over his last eight games. During that eight-game stretch, Raleigh has a 1.116 OPS with five home runs. Raleigh should be able to keep that positive power form going in this matchup with Taj Bradley and the Twins.
In four career at-bats against Bradley, Cal Raleigh has two home runs. Taj Bradley gave up four home runs in a disastrous outing against the Rays in his most recent start. Raleigh should be able to generate some power off Bradley and get over this number. The Twins also have a 5.13 bullpen ERA, the sixth-worst mark in baseball this season. If Raleigh can’t get it done against Bradley, he should be able to generate power against the bullpen.
Sandy Alcantara is back in good form in 2026. Alcantara got Tommy John surgery in 2024, causing him to miss the entire season. In his return in 2025, he did not look like a former Cy Young winner. Alcantara finished the season with a 5.36 ERA, by far the worst mark of his career. So far in 2026, Alcantara has shown flashes of his Cy Young-winning self. In his second start of the season, he pitched a complete-game shutout against the White Sox. He had one blow-up start against the Tigers, but apart from that, he has been really solid.
All of that being said, his numbers have fallen off a cliff in the strikeout department. Even when he was at his best, Alcantara was never a high-strikeout pitcher. His numbers dropped in 2025, averaging just 7.3 strikeouts per nine innings. This season, he has somehow fallen even further despite pitching much better. Alcantara is averaging just 5.9 strikeouts per nine innings, an abysmal number for someone pitching decently well. Even when he threw nine shutout innings, Alcantara only registered seven strikeouts. In each of his past three starts, he has had fewer than five strikeouts. Against the best lineup in baseball, he should finish under that number once again.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is having a great start to his 2026 season. Guerrero is batting .340, the third-best average in baseball. He should have no problem getting on base today against Brayan Bello. Bello has a 9.00 ERA this season, giving up eight runs in his most recent start. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has been great against Brayan Bello in his career as well. Guerrero has a career 1.152 OPS against Bello in 30 career at-bats. Guerrero should keep his great contact run going and register at least one hit in this game and create some runs. He has gone over this combination number in six of his past nine games and should do so again in this matchup with the Red Sox.
