Blake Krass shares his top fantasy baseball Pick6 picks and plays for the Wednesday MLB slate. Check ’em out here!
The MLB season is picking up steam. There are far more ways to get involved in the action this season than just via traditional betting. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Baseball!
Here are my top Pick6 plays for today’s MLB slate.

Aaron Judge has been back to his best over the past few weeks. It wasn’t a bad start to the season by any means for Judge, but it was a slower start by his exceptional standards. Since April 12th, Aaron Judge has been back at an MVP level, however. Over those past 22 games, Judge is batting .316 with 11 home runs and a 1.285 OPS. That comes out to a long ball every other game for Judge. In the five games played so far in the month of May, Judge has a 1.407 OPS. He has recorded more than 1.5 total bases in four of those five games.
Judge should keep it going tonight against Nathan Eovaldi and the Rangers. Eovaldi actually had an excellent start against the Yankees the last time out. However, that was not indicative of his other performances this season. Eovaldi has a 4.76 ERA, and a 5.66 ERA on the road. His most recent start against the Yankees was at home, but he will be much less comfortable at Yankee Stadium. Judge has a .931 career OPS against Eovaldi and should generate an extra-base hit in this game.

Carson Benge has found his groove at the MLB level. Benge, like the rest of his team, had a rough start to the season. To be precise, Benge actually had a brilliant start to his MLB career, hitting a home run on Opening Day. However, he went ice cold for the next couple of weeks after that. It took some time for Benge to adjust to this level, but he looks much more comfortable at the plate as of late. Benge is batting .303 over his last 11 games. Last time out, he hit a home run in his first career game at Coors Field.
Benge should keep it going against Michael Lorenzen and the Rockies. Lorenzen has been awful this season, with a 6.09 ERA to his name. Lorenzen already made a start against the Mets this season at Citi Field and Benge recorded a hit in that game. At the much more hitter-friendly Coors Field, Benge should do so again, especially with the way he is playing as of late. Lorenzen has also been dreadful against lefties, allowing a .417 batting average and a 1.199 OPS to lefties this season.

Kyle Stowers should be in for a big game tonight. Stowers missed the first couple of weeks of the season with an injury suffered in Spring Training. It has been a bit of a rollercoaster for Stowers since coming back, but he seems to be finding his groove. Stowers made his first career All-Star Game last year and is looking to get back to that level. Tonight is a good night to get it going against Brandon Young and the Orioles. Young has a 6.14 ERA this season. He is lucky to have that number, as he gave up 10 runs last time out against the Astros, but only four were charged to him. Young also has a horrific 1.64 WHIP.
Stowers should be elated to see Young on the mound. Last season, Kyle Stowers went 5/5 with three home runs in a game that Young started for the Orioles. All three home runs were against Brandon Young. That equals a nearly impossible 5.000 OPS for Stowers in his career against Young. Stowers should once again hit Young hard and generate some runs for his team in this game. The Orioles also have a 4.86 bullpen ERA this season, the fifth-worst in baseball.
Pick6 is a peer-to-peer fantasy variant where you build a lineup (your “Pick Set”) of 2+ players and select whether or not you believe each will outperform their listed stat projection. Enter your Pick Set in Pick6 contests to compete against other users. Get enough picks correct and win a share of cash prizes.
Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you can not pick the same player twice, and you must pick players from at least two different teams.
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
