Odds: -125 | Opponent: Toronto Blue Jays
Max Scherzer is taking the mound this afternoon against the Red Sox. It’s been a really rough 2026 campaign for the 41-year-old starter, who has made six starts and owns a 10.23 ERA with an xERA of 6.15 and an 8.78 FIP. Not only are both sides of the plate hitting him hard but he’s allowing a massive 54% fly ball rate. That helps explain the 3.6 HR/9 he owns, as he’s allowed nine home runs this season. Winds we be blowing out toward left field, up to 15 mph, toward the Green Monster. The Red Sox lineup could be making a lot of noise both offensively and with balls clanking off that wall. I’d expect a short outing for Scherzer, which means the bulk of the game will be handled by a shaky Blue Jays bullpen.
Odds: +100 | Opponent: Washington Nationals
After going on a solid run on the mound, Zack Littell reverted back to the pitcher we’ve known for years. The Mariners blew him up for five runs on four hits through 1.2 innings in his last outing. Today brings a great matchup for Caglianone, as Littell continues post some poor numbers against lefties. On the season, they’ve tagged him for a massive .398 wOBA with an 8.09 FIP and 13 of the 16 home runs he’s allowed. Caglianone has been locked in during the month of June and currently owns a .482 wOBA with a .245 ISO and a 209 wRC+. Through 14 games in June, Caglianone has logged 19 hits and is averaging 2.2 bases per game.

Odds: -107 | Opponent: Los Angeles Angels
Eduardo Rodriguez has been quite lucky this season. Despite a career-high 3.5 BB/9 and a career-low 6.6 K/9, he owns a solid 2.55 ERA. But, the advanced stats, like his xERA and FIP paint a different story, as they stand at 4.83 and 4.08 respectively. That’s where the Angels come in tonight, as they’ve been exceptional against left-handed pitching. Their expected lineup for tonight sports a .360 wOBA with a .213 ISO and a 10.4% BB% against lefties this season. Rodriguez is a heavy four-seam fastball pitcher and the Angels lineup numbers jump even higher to a .417 wOBA and a .298 ISO against that pitch. I think this is a sneaky spot for the Halos tonight.
