Menguji TestSprite: Lokalisasi Web yang Sering Terlewatkan oleh Developer Indonesia.
Airdrop Glor · 2026-05-04 · via DEV Community

Setup dan First Impression

Setup TestSprite sangat straightforward.

Date format: DD/MM/YYYY (Indonesia) vs MM/DD/YYYY (USA) vs YYYY-MM-DD (Asia)

  1. Number/Currency Formatting (Critical untuk Financial Apps)

Saya test harga produk: Rp 250.000. TestSprite membiarkan saya test dengan:

Indonesia locale: "Rp 250.000" (dengan dot as thousands separator)

USA locale: "$250,000" (dengan comma as thousands separator)

TEMUAN: Component harga tidak konsisten. Di list view show "Rp 250.000", tapi di detail product show "250000" tanpa format. TestSprite ini yang bantu saya catch.

  1. Non-ASCII Input Handling

  1. Timezone Display Issues

Aplikasi saya menampilkan "Order placed at: 14:30".

Jakarta timezone (UTC+7): Show "14:30" ✓

Tokyo timezone (UTC+9): Should show "16:30" — tapi still show "14:30" ✗

Grade A Points dari TestSprite

❌ No AI-assisted test generation: Test cases still harus saya write manual (belum ada auto-detection)

Setup locale testing untuk semua target market kalian, not just ID

Integrate test results ke CI/CD pipeline

TestSprite save saya berhari-hari debugging.
