🚀 Exploring the Unknown: Building UAP Detector with MeDo

The skies have always inspired wonder, but they also hold mysteries we’ve yet to explain. For the Build with MeDo Hackathon, we set out to create something bold: UAP Detector powered by MeDo — an immersive anomaly detection platform that blends AI precision, cyberpunk design, and community-driven exploration.

🌌 Inspiration

We wanted to build a tool that feels like mission control for the unexplained. Inspired by aerospace innovation, anomaly research, and the aesthetics of sci-fi, our vision was to merge scientific curiosity with artistic immersion.

🔍 What It Does

UAP Detector provides a multi-layered detection system:

  • 📷 Camera-based anomaly detection with image/video capture
  • 📡 Radar simulation with waveform visualization and anomaly blips
  • 📊 Frequency spectrum scanning for electromagnetic disturbances
  • 🗺️ Location-based logging with timestamps and geotags
  • 💾 Secure storage & CSV export via Supabase

All wrapped in a cyberpunk-inspired dashboard with animated starfields, glitch effects, and holographic UI.

🧠 How We Built It

  • Platform: MeDo no-code AI builder for rapid prototyping
  • Database: Supabase for secure event storage and retrieval
  • Frontend: Custom CSS animations + MeDo modules for radar/frequency visualization
  • APIs: REST + JSON pipelines for modular data flow
  • Collaboration: GitHub for version control, CapCut/Dreamina for creative assets

⚙️ Challenges

  • Balancing scientific realism with immersive visuals
  • Ensuring real-time synchronization across detection modules
  • Optimizing UI for mobile performance without losing fidelity
  • Extending MeDo’s no-code environment with custom AI logic

🏆 Accomplishments

  • Built a fully functional detection dashboard in hackathon time
  • Designed a cinematic cyberpunk interface that feels futuristic
  • Achieved real-time anomaly visualization with radar + frequency overlays
  • Created a community-ready platform for enthusiasts and researchers
