Every morning at 10:00, the system screenshots live webcams from five zoos — baboons in San Diego, gorillas in Atlanta, snow monkeys in Japan, bonobos in Congo — and analyzes what the monkeys are doing to generate match predictions.
Five analysis methods, median wins. If a gorilla is sleeping, it predicts 0-0.
Why we built it
The World Cup is more fun with predictions, but most prediction apps are either paid, ad-heavy, or overly complex. We wanted something simple, free, and fun.
The monkey angle started as a joke but became the core feature — it turns out people really want to prove they're smarter than a primate.
