But every time I tried to use an online whiteboard, I hit the same frustrating wall: "Please Create an Account to Continue." Or even worse, the UI was bloated with hundreds of features I didn't need, making the app slow and heavy. It completely killed my flow.

I decided to fix this for myself. That’s why I built Boardesa.

As a developer, keeping the app lightweight and highly responsive was my top priority. I focused heavily on optimizing the JavaScript rendering and ensuring that the canvas interactions are as smooth as possible, regardless of the device you are using.
