This case study was developed as a product for an Instagram and TikTok blogger. We all remember the buzz surrounding Cal AI. Many popular bloggers wanted a similar product due to its popularity. We developed and improved the Cal AI app's capabilities. The goal was to make the app convenient for those who constantly take photos of their meals and post them on Instagram. The essence of this app is to measure calories in three ways:

• via the camera, analysis via a neural network,
• via a text description (for example, if you forgot to write down what you ate on the street)
• by creating a meal (for those who meticulously count and weigh every gram on a kitchen scale). The app keeps a monthly diary, and you can see your calorie deficit or surplus for a selected period.

And the killer feature: the app receives data from Apple Health (especially accurate if you have Apple Watch) and adds calories to your daily intake if you've spent a day above average in activity.[]
