A practical 4-minute case study on using Claude Code to review, restructure, and optimise a LinkedIn profile for better visibility, recruiter discovery, and professional positioning.

LinkedIn is no longer just an online resume.

For developers, tech leads, architects, consultants, and product builders, LinkedIn has become a discovery engine. Recruiters search there. Hiring managers validate that. Clients check credibility there. Founders check whether you are serious before starting a conversation.

I already had a LinkedIn profile with my experience, skills, and portfolio links, but I wanted to improve one specific thing:

Visibility.

Not just “make it look better”, but make it easier for the right people to understand what I do, what I have built, and what kind of opportunities I am aligned with.

So I used Claude Code as a profile optimisation assistant.

Why I Used Claude Code for LinkedIn Optimization

Most people use AI tools only for writing captions or generating generic summaries.

I wanted something more practical.

I wanted Claude Code to review my profile like a product page.

A LinkedIn profile has the same structure as a landing page:

  • The headline is the hero section.
  • The About section is the product story.
  • Skills are search keywords.
  • Featured links are proof of work.
  • Experience is the case study section.
  • Recommendations build trust.
  • The profile photo and banner create the first impression.

That mindset changed how I looked at my profile.

Instead of asking, “Does my profile look good?”, I started asking:

Can someone understand my value in 10 seconds?

That is where Claude Code helped.
