  1. Run a monthly AI utility audit — Track what AI is actually solving vs. what it's creating new problems for. If you can't quantify it, you're guessing.

  2. Build one "dumb" fallback — Maintain one workflow you can execute without AI. Not as nostalgia — as insurance. The moment AI becomes your only path, you've built a single point of failure into your team's capability.
