Cómo construí un Morning Briefing con IA que se ejecuta solo cada mañana

El problema

Soy Indie Maker. Mi trabajo depende de saber qué pasa en tech: nuevos frameworks, lanzamientos en Product Hunt, rondas de funding, herramientas de IA. Pero pasaba horas cada mañana saltando entre Hacker News, Reddit, Product Hunt, Substack y X(Twitter). Al final del día, había leído mucho y actuado poco.

Necesitaba algo que filtrara el ruido y me dijera: "esto es lo que necesitas saber hoy, y esto es por qué importa para tu negocio."

No un agregador de links. Un editor.

La arquitectura (v5.0)

El sistema se llama Tavily Intel Pulse. Corre como cron job a las 7 AM y entrega un briefing estructurado en 5 secciones:

  1. En 2 minutos — resumen ejecutivo
  2. Lo que de verdad importa — top 3 noticias con análisis de 3 partes: El Hecho / Por qué importa / Oportunidad para ti
  3. El ecosistema se mueve — 5 señales adicionales
  4. Una idea para robar — insight cruzado conectando señales
  5. Pregunta del día — provocación para tu propio trabajo

Pipeline de 4 fases resilientes

FASE 1: RECOLECCIÓN
FASE 2: ANÁLISIS LLM
FASE 3: ENTREGA NOTION
FASE 4: NOTIFICACIÓN

Clave: Cada fase guarda su output antes de pasar a la siguiente. Si el pipeline falla, el siguiente run reanuda desde la fase que falló, no desde cero. ( esto fue importantísimo, tuve varios errores y problemas las primeras veces y recordemos cada centavo cuenta)

Fase 1 — Recolección

Usa Tavily API (1,000 créditos/mes en free tier) para buscar en 20 fuentes diarias:

  • Product Hunt launches
  • Hacker News front page
  • Reddit (r/AI_Agents, r/webdev, r/SaaS)
  • GitHub trending
  • Tech news (TechCrunch, The Verge)
  • Funding rounds (Crunchbase signals)

Fase 2 — Análisis LLM con scoring

Cada item pasa por un scoring engine que extrae métricas reales del contenido:

+45  MRR ≥ $5K/mo        +35  Upvotes ≥ 100        +30  Stars ≥ 1000
+25  Funding ≥ $10M       +20  Users ≥ 10K          +25  Menciona SaaS
+20  Menciona agent/MCP  +15  Menciona solopreneur  -12  Contenido genérico

Caps evitan overflow: máximo 100 puntos. Umbral: 20/100.

Los top 3 items se analizan con GPT-4o-mini (barato, rápido, suficiente para análisis editorial) con extracción profunda extract_depth="advanced" de Tavily.

Fase 3 — Entrega a Notion

El briefing se guarda en una base de datos de Notion con:

  • Titular estructurado
  • Resumen del agente
  • Fuente, fecha, relevancia, impacto esperado
  • Child blocks con las 5 secciones formateadas

Fase 4 — Notificación Telegram

Mensaje corto con Markdown:

Lo que aprendí construyéndolo

1. La arquitectura por fases es no-negociable

En v4.0, si fallaba el LLM, todo se caía. En v5.0, cada fase deja un archivo temporal. Si Fase 2 falla, Fase 1 sigue guardada. El siguiente run reanuda desde Fase 2.

2. El scoring debe ser transparente

No es "IA mágica que decide". Es un sistema de puntos con reglas claras que yo puedo ajustar. Si quiero que pese más el MRR, cambio un número. No reentreno un modelo.

3. El formato editorial importa más que la cantidad de datos

Un agregador te da 50 links. Un editor te dice: "Este framework de agentes tiene 4,000 upvotes y resuelve exactamente el problema que tienes con tu pipeline de Notion." La diferencia es análisis, no recolección.

4. El costo es ridículamente bajo

  • Tavily: free tier (1,000 créditos/mes)
  • OpenAI GPT-4o-mini: ~$0.15 por briefing
  • Notion API: free
  • Telegram Bot: free

Total: menos de $5/mes para un briefing diario personalizado.

La skill que lo orquesta

Todo esto está documentado como una skill de Hermes Agent (tavily-intel-pulse). La skill incluye:

  • El script Python completo (morning_briefing.py)
  • Configuración de cron job
  • Schema de la base de datos de Notion
  • Sistema de scoring con caps
  • Manejo de errores por fase
  • Rotación de API keys

Por qué esto importa para Indie Maker

Como builders independientes, no tenemos equipos de inteligencia de mercado. Pero tomamos decisionas de producto, pricing, y stack técnico todos los días. Necesitamos contexto, no solo información.

Este sistema me da contexto en 2 minutos. Me dice qué lanzamiento de Product Hunt podría ser un competitor. Me señala cuando un framework de agentes gana tracción. Me pregunta cosas como: "¿Tu producto actual podría beneficiarse de un MCP server?"

No reemplaza el pensamiento. Lo acelera.
