I started this project 9 years ago, back in 2017. Mainly because I wanted to learn a few things.

Plenty of tools already existed at the time, and many new ones have been created since to solve the same problem. But honestly, I wanted to learn by building something I would actually use in my own projects, so here we are.

It was something I really enjoyed working on back then, but life happens. There is always some other project that brings in money and takes priority. Now I can finally spend a few weekends picking up some side projects again.

Over the last few days, I have been working on the architecture, the API design, and defining what I want to achieve with this. This is the real MVP of the library.

I'll be sharing a few posts detailing the implementation, mostly for record-keeping and to document the process.

What's the plan

First, it took me a few days to define the architecture and the API, which was the hardest part of the whole process. Once that was complete, I started development. I'm going to share two articles per day: first, a development log, and second, an engineering post, to record the complete process.
