Review TestSprite: AI Testing Agent untuk Developer Indonesia

Saya mencoba langsung TestSprite untuk menguji website Indonesia — ini pengalaman jujur saya sebagai developer.

Apa itu TestSprite?

TestSprite adalah agen pengujian perangkat lunak berbasis AI yang mengklaim bisa menyelesaikan siklus testing dalam 10–20 menit secara otomatis — tanpa kode, tanpa QA manual. Platform ini mendukung dua mode: MCP Server (langsung di IDE seperti Cursor/VS Code) dan Web Portal (testing via browser).

Saya mencoba Web Portal-nya untuk menguji website publik Indonesia.


Proses Pengujian

1. Daftar dan Setup

Proses pendaftaran mudah — cukup email dan password, lalu verifikasi kode OTP. Setelah login, dashboard cukup bersih dengan sidebar navigasi yang jelas:

  • MCP Tests — untuk pengujian lokal via IDE
  • Web Tests — untuk URL yang sudah live
  • Test Lists — manajemen koleksi tes
  • Monitoring — jadwal dan pemantauan otomatis

Akun gratis mendapat 150 kredit dan akses uji coba 1 bulan plan premium.

2. Membuat Test Suite Pertama

Saya pilih Live Web App untuk menguji https://indihome.co.id — website layanan internet terbesar di Indonesia. Langkahnya:

  1. Beri nama test suite: IndihomeWebsite UI Test
  2. Skip backend testing (fokus UI)
  3. Input URL: https://indihome.co.id
  4. Klik Next — AI langsung bekerja

3. Generasi Test Plan

Dalam 1–2 menit, AI menganalisis website dan menghasilkan test plan otomatis:

Hasil analisis:

  • URLs dianalisis: 1
  • Total test cases: 10

AI berhasil mendeteksi berbagai skenario pengujian secara otomatis dari website yang belum pernah dilihat sebelumnya. Ini cukup impreisf.


Observasi: Penanganan Locale (Bahasa & Format Lokal)

Ini bagian yang paling relevan untuk developer Indonesia:

✅ Yang Berjalan Baik

1. Deteksi Konten Bahasa Indonesia
TestSprite berhasil menganalisis konten berbahasa Indonesia di website IndoHome tanpa masalah. AI memahami struktur halaman meskipun labelnya bukan dalam Bahasa Inggris. Ini menunjukkan model AI-nya sudah cukup multilingual untuk membaca dan memahami konteks halaman non-Inggris.

2. Navigasi UI Multi-Bahasa
Dalam proses analisis, TestSprite tidak "bingung" dengan elemen UI berbahasa Indonesia seperti "Pilih Paket", "Hubungi Kami", atau "Cek Ketersediaan". Test case yang dihasilkan tetap relevan dengan alur pengguna yang wajar.

⚠️ Yang Perlu Diperhatikan

1. Laporan Selalu dalam Bahasa Inggris
Meski website yang diuji berbahasa Indonesia, semua output TestSprite — nama test case, deskripsi, laporan — selalu dalam Bahasa Inggris. Ini bukan masalah fungsional, tapi bisa jadi hambatan untuk tim QA Indonesia yang tidak terbiasa dengan terminologi testing berbahasa Inggris.

Contoh: TestSprite menghasilkan test case bernama "Verify Homepage Navigation Links" — padahal kalau dilokalisasi harusnya "Verifikasi Tautan Navigasi Halaman Utama". Tidak ada opsi untuk mengganti bahasa output.

2. Format Tanggal dan Angka Tidak Diuji Secara Lokal
TestSprite tidak secara otomatis menguji apakah format tanggal menggunakan konvensi Indonesia (DD/MM/YYYY vs MM/DD/YYYY) atau apakah pemisah ribuan menggunakan titik (1.000) vs koma (1,000) sesuai standar Indonesia. Developer harus menambahkan test case manual untuk kasus ini.


Kelebihan

  • Setup sangat cepat — 5 menit dari daftar sampai test plan jadi
  • Tidak perlu nulis kode — cocok untuk developer yang tidak punya background QA
  • AI cukup pintar — deteksi otomatis 10 test case dari URL tanpa input tambahan
  • UI bersih dan intuitif — tidak overwhelmed dengan fitur
  • Free tier cukup untuk coba-coba — 150 kredit + 1 bulan trial premium

Kekurangan

  • Output hanya Bahasa Inggris — belum ada lokalisasi untuk tim lokal
  • Locale testing tidak otomatis — format tanggal/angka/mata uang lokal perlu ditambah manual
  • Butuh koneksi internet stabil — proses analisis bergantung cloud
  • Kredit gratis cepat habis untuk proyek besar

Kesimpulan

TestSprite adalah tools yang genuinely berguna untuk developer Indonesia yang ingin testing cepat tanpa kerumitan setup. AI-nya cukup capable untuk memahami konten berbahasa Indonesia, meski output-nya masih full Bahasa Inggris.

Kalau Anda developer solo atau tim kecil yang selama ini skip testing karena ribet, TestSprite layak dicoba — khususnya free trial-nya yang cukup generous.

Untuk tim enterprise Indonesia yang butuh laporan berbahasa Indonesia atau testing locale-aware (format Rupiah, tanggal DD/MM/YYYY, input karakter non-ASCII seperti nama dengan huruf é atau ñ), perlu ada custom test case tambahan secara manual.

Rating: 4/5 — Tool yang solid untuk memulai, dengan ruang peningkatan di sisi lokalisasi.
