Hiring Angular Developers for Fintech: The 5 Compliance Questions Most Teams Skip in 2026

The PCI Security Standards Council ended the 4.0 transition window on March 31, 2025, and 2026 is the first full enforcement year under PCI DSS v4.0.1. That changes how fintech teams should be interviewing angular developers for fintech roles. The old "build a CRUD app with auth" coding round won't surface whether a candidate has shipped Angular code in a regulated environment.

Most engineering leads still interview the way they did pre-update. They probe RxJS knowledge, ask about signals versus zone.js, and maybe a question on lazy loading. Then they hand the new hire a transaction-dispute screen that touches PII and PAN data, and hope for the best. The interview rubric for angular developers for fintech roles needs to change.
