I’ve been working on a small tool called Xyra.
It is a Windows desktop app for managing Linux/VPS files over SSH/SFTP, but instead of feeling like a classic remote file list, I wanted it to feel more like a lightweight desktop environment.
The idea came from constantly jumping between old tools, raw directory listings, configs, assets, webroots and server folders. I wanted something more visual and comfortable for daily VPS work.

Current features:

• SSH / SFTP based remote file browsing
• desktop-style folder and file view
• drag & drop uploads
• built-in text/code editor
• image previews
• archive handling for .zip, .rar, .7z, .pk3, .iwd
• remote file search
• server health snapshot
• favorite folders and quick paths
• safer delete flow using a remote .xyra-trash
• custom icon pack support
• standalone Windows 64-bit .exe

It is still early, but version 1.6 is now the first non-beta release.
