目标与退出标准于旅程构建者:衡量所重之事

凡旅程构建之设,迟早必遇客户之问:"入此旅程者,实有几人购之?"

其解在两设,并置于旅程设之面板右邻——目标退出标准者,事各异也。众常设其谬,而报章默然欺月余。

设之始

吾客施三函之序,欲化引为初购。所求简矣:若引于序终前成市,则止邮其议。亦请示季末之化率。

此乃二要义。Goal主其一,Exit Criteria主其二,混淆二者,正为引发此篇之报告谬误所由也。

志在功成

旨者,状也。此程有成。行者不辍,审诸在籍者。既合其志,二事乃成。

  1. 彼等立辞程途,纵邮函犹滞。
  2. 彼等计为焉事竟于旅程分析之中,生转化之率。
Example: Goal = subscriber has a record in Purchase_DE within 30 days of entry

于关照某转化指标时设之

无目标,则旅程分析仅显开启与点击之率。不能于旅程构建界面答“转化者几何?”须每当客户询之,手自查询数据视与数据工程。”

退出标准——其去之条件

出则之则,乃言其状也。此订阅者已非此程之属矣。遇之则去,然犹非也计为已化。

Example: Exit Criteria = subscriber unsubscribed, subscriber flagged as churned

设此,当需止邮于特定条件下之订阅者,然其去非为成事。

有二谬误,吾辈屡见

谬误一:无成事而运之

吾等承前商之途,已行月余。客问:入途者凡几人购焉?无设目标,无途析之数。遂以SQL询购之DE,联途之属,重构本应为一之仪表数。

若君有客户所恒询之转化KPI,宜于首日立定目标。后加之亦有效,然已竟功之旧用户,终不溯计其绩。

错谬二:当设目标处,反用退出准则。

吾所察之队,误设退出标准为"已下单",而非目标为"已下单"。此程虽正确移除买者——善。然程中分析之目标完成率竟为零,盖因退出标准之事件不归入目标指标也。

CMO询QBR转化率,仪表盘示零。历两时辰之穷究,方悟其程实可转化,惟测量有失。一复选框,事乃解,然与干系人言此,实非善谈也。

要诀云: 若结局合乎商贾所求,是为"目标"。若订阅者仅因中庸之故离去(如退订、渐失活跃、迁至异类群组),则属"退出之标"。

何时兼用二者

大抵生产之旅,吾辈所送,多兼设此二:

  • 目标:"立市成交"——此乃胜境,载于转化之报。
  • 退出标准:"已退订或标记为非活跃"——此"不属于此处"之筛选,不计为成功.

二者皆持续评估,遇匹配即移除订阅者,且季度末之数据实与业务疑问相符.

要旨

目标与退出标准乃任何旅程构建之最要紧五分钟,亦最易被省略之五分钟。当客户嘱托"为第四季度运行培育活动"时,吾辈首问当为:"转化之意为何,及其停止接触之时?"此二者之答,即对应目标与退出标准。若省略之,旅程虽行无碍,然QBR之演示文稿中,必有一栏尽填零数。
