OmniOutliner 6.2 is now available in 11 languages
Marcus Mendes · 2026-06-11 · via 9to5Mac

OmniGroup’s legendary outlining tool just got even more useful and accessible to users around the world, with expanded localization support across Mac, iPad, iPhone, and Apple Vision Pro. Here are the details.

OmniOutliner now speaks 11 languages

Earlier this year, Omni Group released OmniOutliner 6, a massive update that introduced OmniOutliner Links, a refined UI with the Liquid Glass overhaul, new themes and templates, Apple Intelligence support, the highly customizable AI Tools, and quality-of-life improvements across safer filters, attachments, and more.

Additionally, the update launched as a universal app (with a universal purchase) for the Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro.

Today, OmniOutliner got updated to version 6.2, including a massive localization effort that brought it to a total of 11 languages, as follows:

  • Dutch
  • English
  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Portuguese
  • Russian
  • Simplified Chinese
  • Spanish

Here’s Ken Case, founder and CEO of Omni Group, on why today’s update is more meaningful than it might seem at first glance:

For us, localizing our software isn’t just a checkbox: it’s an expression of our values. We value people, respect our international neighbors, and encourage listening to each other with humility. They say to put your money where your mouth is, but what they don’t tell you is how great that really feels: to dedicate resources in a way that aligns with your values and mission.

As always, OmniOutliner 6.2 offers a 14-day free trial, with pricing available as a $49.99 annual subscription, a $24.99 Essentials license, or a $99.99 Pro license. You can learn more and compare features here.
